Arno, Anja & Ane' - Family Shoot

On Sunday I was happy to photograph Arno, Anja and their little daughter Ane'.

This couple has been so good to me, taking my maternity and newborn pictures! I cannot thank them enough for that and hope that these pictures bring them the same joy!

This is a really short post - Malakai is making little 'grumpy' noises... it is time for his morning wash and feed - motherhood never stops I have discovered! It is a journey that is sometimes difficult, sometimes tiring, but always... always rewarding!

Mark, Samm & Deqlan - Family Shoot

This is why I take photos!!

I had such an amazing time photographing Mark, Samm and their little boy Deqlan on Saturday morning at the Irene Dairy. Deqlan was my first newborn shoot two years ago, and this little boy holds a very special place in my heart! Look out for the pictures of Deqlan without his top on, the scars on his tummy are from undergoing chemotherapy when he was under a year old - he is a warrior and survivor of neuroblastoma at such a young age! He makes all of us proud to be in his life to witness his spirit and determination!

Matric Dance Shoot

I had so much fun photographing Razelle in her matric dance dress! I honestly think that if you are going to spend that much money on one dress for one night, you should at least have a mini-glamour-shoot to remember the moment!

I loved working in the late afternoon sun (I usually work mornings) and really played around with with the amazing light at my disposal. What a beautiful day with beautiful surroundings and a beautiful young lady looking so elegant!

Roelof, Louise, Jessica and Dyllan - Newborn Shoot

On Saturday morning I had the privilege and joy of photographing a wonderful family - Roelof, Louise, little Jessica and newborn Dyllan.

Theirs' is a story of inspiration, the determination of the human spirit and the beauty of life. Little Dyllan is already 16 weeks old, but he was 12 weeks early, eager to great the world.

I was inspired to witness the love that Roelof and Louise have for their children - it was amazing to see!

I hope that I have captured the memories that they wanted of their baby boy's arrival into this world!
